As you know I do primarily automotive related stuff - shoots, events, reviews and so on. Every now and then I do other things like corporate event photography and more recently, engagement shoots and weddings. I usually refer this kind of work to others in the field but every now and then I accept the commission, especially when it's from a fellow car nut. If you don't recognise the Mk5 Golf above, it belongs to Gareth Munthri, a top chap with great taste in cars. I've taken plenty pics of his cars over the years, and will continue to do so as long as I know the guy I'm sure. Well Gareth recently got married and I was there, camera in hand...
Of course the main focus (heh heh heh) of the wedding was the bride and the day itself, but Gareth organised a great wedding car convoy for the bridesmaids and his beautiful bride, Bonita. The convoy was made up of some seriously tasty cars, bagged and all, while the main car was one that I see often, and when I do I make a point of licking it when the owner isn't looking, Warren Rodger's super hot Series 6 FS Mazda RX-7.
If you have any car guy (or girl) mates that are getting married and you're invited, make sure you go. Besides technically being work, it was great fun too.
I wanna send a huge congrats to Gareth and Bonita - I wish you all the best for an awesome future full of great times and, well, hot cars!
Of course - the bride and groom need to be shown off too...
