Yeah, we all know that Agent 007 is the main man and 004 is but another number in the queue of Q's kitted out agents. It's not really 004, I just thought that sounded cool, and well, looked even better with that Skyfall font. It's 0.04, which is the wheel from 3SDM that Gareth's aired out Candy White Golf 5 GTi rides on. But what is this that you're seeing on this blog page? If it looks like a feature, you're close. It's a sort of featurette, I just wanted to see how some cool photos of a cool car would look accompanied by some text possibly describing the car. This is a test run for things to come I guess, but while I'm using it to test layout and to put things in my mind into reality, I hope you see it as some pretty cool pics. Well I think they're cool anyway... Gareth is also known as Hostility thanks to his VWCSA forum handle, but the man is anything but hostile - just don't screw with his mates though... Gareth's Mk5 is full of mods. Inside, outside, under the hood. Now if this was a true feature I'd list them for you in a cool article, but it's not a feature. So if you do want the full lowdown on the bagged GTi, then you'll have to head on over to the full build thread on the Volkswagen Club of SA's forum. Be warned, it will take you a few hours, but if you're a nut about cars, then you won't mind. Like I said, this post is really a test, something that I've wanted to try for a long time now. So you're probably not really even reading this, but if you have happened upon this post, drop me a line and let me know if you like online featurettes like this one and if you'd like to see more. Thanks for looking, or, well, you know, just being here. Oh, and I know for a fact that if one person does read this test post all the way to the end it will be Gareth. So a quick shoutout to Gareth for the pics of his car. You rock man! Bonus gallery. I know that selective colouring is the bane of many photographers, but on Gareth's GTi it just worked so damn well so here's a gallery of all the same pics but in a 'reds only' edit. |
